Full-Time Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting sales and profit; achieving all company objectives and directing and inspiring a high performance team. The Operations Supervisor drives results by overseeing efficiency and productivity of the back of house functions including the Door to Floor process, price changes, and cashiering support. The Operations Supervisor is also responsible for supporting a high level of engagement and a people development culture in his/ her area and throughout the store, since the success of the business is tied to the quality and performance of the team.
Responsible for supporting achievement of Sales, Controllable Profit, Email Capture rate, Ship from Stores and Store to Store.
Supports the selling and service processes; providing direction to team in achieving sales goals and execution of company initiatives.
Provides consistently excellent selling and service skills to customers to drive results and model behaviors for Associates
Oversees and performs the operational and merchandising processes to ensure that Door to Floor standards are maintained and signage and pricing vehicles are current and clear.
Supports achievement of store payroll rate and expense; oversees Operations’ associates staffing, ensuring scheduling aligns with overall business needs
Develops and retains direct reports, ensuring their readiness for increased responsibilities and providing a bench of internal talent who are upwardly mobile to fill critical positions.
Responsible for maintaining fair and accurate practices within his/ her area including equitable hiring, scheduling, promotions and performance management.
Manages poor performance appropriately, in partnership with the Employee Relations Service Center to improve overall productivity and performance of the team.
Oversees efficient processing and movement of merchandise through Door to Floor, Price Changes, re-ticketing, RTV’s, MOOS and mis-mates, Ship from Store, and Store to Store.
Organizes back of house area and tools including signage, sign holders, and store supplies.
Supports the merchandise presentation and signage standards in partnership with ASMs. Coaches associates on standards and adherence to corporate visual directives.
Supports the inventory shortage strategy, results, and concerns and communicates policies and procedures to store population.
Ensures that the store is a safe working and shopping environment, orders store supplies, communicates facility or housekeeping issues and partners to resolve them.
Ensures that all appropriate financial and regulatory controls are in place and monitors compliance, protecting confidential and non-public information.
Consistently adheres to all standards and deadlines for hiring, onboarding and separation of Associates to maintain compliance with company and legal guidelines.
Support Company initiatives and projects as directed.
Maintains strict adherence to Meal Periods and Breaks Guidelines.
Adheres to Asset Protection control and compliance procedures.
Other and special projects duties as assigned.
4 year degree preferred.
Goal oriented focus, with demonstrated ability to develop, manage and motivate a team while driving company initiatives.
Proficiency in utilizing available technology including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.)
Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules.
2+ years of management experience with comparable volume or a proven track record of success managing a selling workforce
and achieving results.
